GRC Oak Park Gymnastics and Recreation Center

GRC Gymnastic and Recreation Center Oak Park offers classes, camps and private lessons. The facility is home to four full-time principal coaches and twenty part-time instructors. They are available to help athletes of all ages and backgrounds improve their fitness and gymnastic skills.

On Oct. 5, 2013, the gymnastics and recreation centre opened. The facility is located at 21 Lake Street. It replaced the former gymnastics and recreation facility located at 218 Madison St. The grand opening event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a video presentation, facility tours, and fun activities for children.

How can I burn fat and exercise?

Exercise burns calories through increased metabolism and oxygen consumption.

Exercise at a moderate intensity to safely lose weight.

To burn fat while exercising, follow these tips:

  • Cardio exercises like walking, running (or jogging), swimming, cycling, running, and/or elliptical training are all good options.
  • You can exercise for 30 mins three times per week.
  • You can lose weight by adding strength training to the routine.
